Transfer files

Can someone tell me which file contains the save files for Ds games, and how to transfer save files.
There are 2 types files that drastic uses to save your data
[Game].dsv - this is the cartridge save
[Game]_0-8.dss- these are save state files _8-is the quick save slot 0-7 are normal save slots though they are actually called 1-8 in the savestate menu.
These are all saved in the /sdcard/drastic/ folder under backup[.dsv] and savestates[.dss] by default
As for taking cartridge saves from nintendo ds games to use in drastic. I know you can use a flash cart to do that, or even some versions of action replay. What I am not sure of is if there is a converter or if the backup even needs converting to work with drastic. Kinda curious myself, I rip my own roms using a flashcart, but I have not bothered with the save files because it was not really a priority fpr something which might be a hassle to get working. Plus it can be fun to start over.
