Cant load pkmn heartgold

When i go to "load new game" the pokemon heartgold rom is written with red text and when i click on the rom the drastic crashes. Then i tried to download another pokemon heartgold rom and it works just fine but i cant load the save i played. Any idea how i get the red texted rom to work?

The red text usually means a corrupt ROM. u need to change the name of the save file to match ur new heartgold ROM name EXACTLY.

The red text just means that it's the last game you loaded.
