Pokemon White 2 locking up (Fixed)

I didn't see this same problem posted yet, but I'm running Pokemon White 2 on a Samsung Galaxy Light, and I'm having an issue where it locks up whenever I encounter a pokemon in the wild. The screen flashes twice, the encounter music plays, but then the image locks on the overworld and the music is stuck on a single note. The emulator itself works perfectly fine, it's the game only that's locking up. It also locks up if I try to move from area to area (like the entrance to and from the Flocessy Ranch to the nearby route), and I cannot enter doors to buildings (it plays the normal noise of me bumping into an immovable object).

I've been playing on my tablet, and everything works fine, but when I send the save file to my phone I have this issue. I've tried going to different areas and sending different save files, but it still gives me the same issues. If it makes any difference, I have one Pokemon I used cheats to encounter in the wild (Munna). I previously have played through Platinum and Black on this phone before. I am running the newest version (r2.2.1.2a).

Does it help if you turn on automatic trim?

Are you loading a zipped or unzipped ROM? If it's zipped try unzipped (and also with auto-trim)

I was unzipped to begin with, but now that doesn't matter because I got it fixed. I deleted the .nds file and redownloaded it. I had originally downloaded it from online on my tablet, then from my tablet uploaded to a cloud account and downloaded it to my phone from the cloud account. This time I simply downloaded it directly from the original source. And yep, it's working fine, on the regular seettings (and zipped, actually). No idea why.

Thank you for your help.
