nba top trumps card won't create save file

hello all i just got this game and on drastic it starts and after a few seconds it asks to create a savegame to go on.unfortunately when i do so the game says "the save data could not be accessed,please turn the power off and reinsert the game card"

other games just save fine. any help?

on pc on desmume it hangs up during load.the only nds emu to run it(on pc of course) is nogba

It's failing because it's not in the save database, because it was released too recently (this year). I'll try to get in as much as I can for the next release.

Hard to believe DS games are still actually coming out...

yep it was released this year.don't worry take your time you're doing an awesome job.and yeah hard to believe there's still games coming out for the ds .... o_O

Though as what I observed with release patterns for the GBA and a few other consoles, by the time a Nintendo handheld is past its prime developers would sprinkle the catalogue up with children's games or budget-priced shovelware.

yeah,unfortunately.there was already a lot of shovelware back in its prime,go figure now...

Yeah, it's been like that on DS for a good two years now.

I guess it happens because of the backwards compatibility. No point making a 3DS game if DS can handle what you're trying to do without any real problem.

But with GBA, IIRC they stopped trickling out by mid-2008, when the system was 7 years old. DS is over 10 years old now, and has well over twice as many releases as GBA.

Besides being that children wouldn't probably care about the graphics for as long as Ben Tennyson or Elsa is on it. :lol:
