Performance in Xperia Z3 compact

Hi!
I just got a Z3 compact, and while playing phantom hourglass I seem to notice that the performance is somewhat lower that with mi old moto G (wich I started the game with)
I seem to experience random slowdowns, wich I remember to be less frequent with the Moto G. Nothing that makes the game unplayable, of course, and not an abysmal difference, but I'm just curious, as the Z3 is supossed to be supperior in every aspect to the moto G (Wich is still a great phone)
Is it some short of compatibility issue? Is there anything I can tweak to make the game run smoother?
Thanks!

The performance on the Z3 compact should be a lot higher than on the Moto G, of course.
Did you use the same version of DraStic on both devices?
The same happens on my Note 3 test device, which has lower performance than a Galaxy S3, for example.
It turns out, that the system clocks down the CPU cores so significantly (for battery saving i assume), that DraStic doesn't run full speed all the time. This started happening with one of the Android updates some months ago.
DraStic uses multiple threads, which normally increases performance, but in this case it unfortunately has the opposite effect.
You can test if that's what happens on your Z3, by overriding the number of threads.
Just make a text file called threads.cfg, containing only the number 1, then copy it to /sdcard/DraStic/config.
In DraStic's advanced options, you should then see the number of threads change from 3 to 1.
Then test if that improves performance.

I'm using the current version now, last time I used the moto G was about 8 months or so, so I used the version available at the time.
I noticed that the description in ultra stamina mode seems to point that the CPU is clocked down, but as I dont use neither of the power-saving modes, I supposed that was not the case.
Also, I noticed that the in the case of other CPU-demanding emulators like Mupen64 with Majora's Mask and Gles2glide64 plugin, the performance with the Z3 is much better than with the Moto G.
Of course, Mupen hasn't been updated since almost a year, so maybe it doesn't experience the issue you are appointing.
I'll test what you said asap and report results, thank you!

I tried with 1 thread and It doesn't seem to change performance (neither for better or worse).
Thanks anyway!
