Screen Orientation

Hi there!
I cannot for the life of me find a way to do this, so I hope someone can help me out here.
I want to force the app to go into landscape mode while maintaining the layout in Portrait 1:1 mode.
The reason I want to do this is because Google released an update so that my phone can cast my whole screen to the TV. When playing in this mode, the phone is oriented in portrait. This is fine for most games. However, I want to be able to play Hotel Dusk, which uses a book-layout view. This isn't an issue when playing on the phone itself because I can just turn the phone, but on the TV... I can't rotate the view (it stays upright on the TV).
I tried switching to the various landscape options, but then the DS screens themselves isn't oriented correctly and I can't rotate them.
Please help?
