When I create a shortcut to a game, the icon has a big white box in the background (Radiant Historia).

After renaming to (game name).ico, I tried copying the following file to DraStic/icon-cache:
http://www.emuparadise.me/ndsbox1/5574i.gif

but it doesn't work...

Is there a way to change the game icon shortcut image?

That won't work, the icons are not cached in a common image format.
