tactics a2 savestate problem

Hi I encountered a problem after continuing a savestate in final fantasy tactics a2. I used the skill ultima and then the game crashed soon after the skill initiated I think the problem is when I used a savestate instead of the ingame save cause when I used the ingame save it was working fine.. I hope you fix this, its kinda annoying.. Btw I was using the latest version
