Fast-forward speed?

I am playing pokemon heart gold and use fast-forward feature often.
However, the fast-forward makes the game too fast.
Is there a way to change the speed of the fast-forward? I want to make fast-forward slower..

There is an option in the video settings to set the 'Fast-Forward maximum Speed'.
