I'm considering buying this program but I'm concerned about how the drm works.
Do I need an internet connection every time I start the program or just the first time after I've installed it?
If support for this program stops, will it be patched to remove the drm?

It only needs an internet connection the first time it's ran. I have to check with Lordus on this, but I think it needs it until after the cancellation window runs out, so something like 15 minutes after you've installed it.

If somehow it becomes impossible for people to run it - like if Google did a remote uninstall or something, along with banning it from Play - then we'd most likely release it somewhere else without charging.
