By far drastic is outstanding in term of emulators it easily run any game that i throw to it at it's original speed even my phone is consider a low end Android phone so what next???
- maybe implementation of local wifi multiplayer (it is hard l know but it has been done before as melonds emulator which is open source )
- add 2x 3x 4x or even 6x upscaling and enhancing graphics
- add online play through wiimffi
i know it is a lot of work but i think if we accomplish it drastic will be the ultimate complete emulator ever created for any system
What is next for Drastic
Re: What is next for Drastic
There already is an HD renderer. However, I don't think multiplayer will be a thing in DraStic
Re: What is next for Drastic
I'm hoping that open-source is coming next, I'd love to see DraStic become open-source since I think it was stated that it would become open-source in 2020? That would be so cool to see, and to me that would be the biggest update possible as the emulator is basically already feature-complete as far as I'm concerned.
Re: What is next for Drastic
I think that online multiplayer (but not local) might be a possibility when and if Drastic goes open source .
They could implement libslirp from MelonDS : http://melonds.kuribo64.net/comments.php?id=119

Re: What is next for Drastic
A beta for MelonDs has already been released for android so drascti could go from being the option par excellence to an alternative option.Nir777 wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2020 8:57 am I think that online multiplayer (but not local) might be a possibility when and if Drastic goes open source .
