I got to the point in the game where I am near the top of celestial tower, and when I got to the new floor, when I encountered a pokemon, it would go back to the main menu. I restarted my phone and now when I try to load the save, it restarts my phone. Anyone have the same problem?

The savestate you're trying to load is probably corrupted or otherwise not a valid savestate. Maybe it crashed while you were saving, for example if your phone ran out of memory or if you ran out of storage space while saving..

But is there any way to fix it?

If a savestate is corrupt you can't do anything to load it again, your data is gone. If you made in-game saves or made other savestates you can load those..

That sucks I don't have any for like 2 towns back.
