When I try to "Load new game", after selecting the rom (let's say Kingdom Hearts Re-coded) the screen blacks out (looking like the game's starting). However, when the blacking out fades, I'm back at the DraStic main menu. Is there something I'm doing wrong or am I missing something?
My stuff:
I own a Nintendo DS, which I legally bought about 4 years ago.
I own legally bought cartridges for the games I have in my phone.
My phone: Samsung Galaxy Core
Purchased DraStic from the Play Store (ver2.1.6.2a)
Games were saved in sdcard0/documents/emu/roms/NDS, thus four degrees from the root.
(FYI, sdcard0 is not an external SD card. It's internal.)
If there's some important detail I'm missing, let me know and I will supply the info.
Can't even open a game
Re: Can't even open a game
What are the specs of your phone?
Re: Can't even open a game
your phone is a dual core cortex a-5. while it is supported, its a little on the 'low end' side in terms of processor. you could play 2d games with frameskips but i dont think it can handle intensive 3d games (like kingdom hearts). in fact, a 1 gig dual core cortex a9 would outclass your processor any day.
Behold my mighty

Really? D'awww...Jay Haru wrote:your phone is a dual core cortex a-5. while it is supported, its a little on the 'low end' side in terms of processor. you could play 2d games with frameskips but i dont think it can handle intensive 3d games (like kingdom hearts). in fact, a 1 gig dual core cortex a9 would outclass your processor any day.
Thanks anyway, Jay Haru. You've saved me a lot of time and effort. Have a great day!

Performance aside, the phone should still run the emulator. There has to be something else causing problems. Are you using stock Android?
