I guess you should give a savestate or savegame file or something to someone who got it working before then they can see if it is or isn't working for them. It's possible that the emulation is working in some condition and not another.

That said, I just tried and it downloaded fine, but you have to temporarily allow popups for that website.

well, i can confirm the hinge works as i overcame this so called problem. here is a screenshot of proof. now,if you ask me how it is done, all i can say is youre not looking hard enuf as it worked for me after just a few minutes of gameplay. cmon guys, be a true gamer!

Ahah... dang, that's not very glorious. I remembered having read about this and didn't look any further! That's quite embarrassing!
I've figured it out though, and I can confirm it works too! Now I'm going to hang my head in shame forever.

Sorry for the necropost but modern versions have this issue. I tried the "CLOSE DS" button, a billion times, in fact, maybe more. I looked up the exact walkthrough, including someone doing this on another emulator. It's simply not working.
This thread mentions a close lid button, is this a separate button hidden somewhere or was this re-named "close ds"?
