Do you have asphalt 8? I've just noticed its not working correctly either...
Are we both stuck in some weird mode on the controller?
I'm sure its "hold triangle button for 2 seconds until it flashes and press the shoulder button above the impulse text"
It may not actually be Drastic...

Seems to be an OS bug as its working properly now on 4.4.4

its something to do with the bluetooth stack drivers and it affects 4.2 and 4.3 (im not sure about 4.4 but id like to know then i might update). i get the same problems and i use an iPega bluetooth HID controller..

sorry for reviving this old thread
But this weird behavior is still on Lollipop.
I've tested on Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet and Motorola Moto X 2014.
