I was messing around with various sound options and managed to get the 'shout at astrid' part working on my phone. However, blowing out the candles part I can't get working.

Well guys.. I have the latest version of the emulator (2.1.2) and I still have the same problem with the Phantom Hourglass
I used the Nds4droid for shout something in front the door (with Astrid on the other side) and in the Fire Temple entrance. But the real problem was inside the Fire Temple, with the Nds4droid I have a black screen in the touch screen of the emulator, so is impossible complete the Fire Temple dungeon with a blinded screen.
But at the end finally I could have success, I used the spinning move of Link and the SuperMoonJump hack (use this at the same time) for go throw the flames and then get the last normal key of the dungeon
(you need use the same 'trick' for go back to the room).
About the microphone, I hope a real fix of this game
Someone still have the same problem with the microphone emulation?

HEY HEY the microphone IS
WORKING PERFECTLY!!
Just use the external microphone of some headphone (hands free) and it's all!
This works at 100% for me!

I tried this but it doesn't work for me.
Any idea how we can add the manual blow cheat to the R button?

I've also been playing this game and have had no microphone-related issues, even from the first release. I was able to blow out the candles just fine.
