pokemon shutdown
Hello I'm new to this site I was playing Pokemon black 2 on drastic and all of the sudden after a wild Pokemon battle the screen went black and stayed black and I don't know what to do or how to fix it without deleting my progress

The version is on the startup screen in the corner.
Did you make in-game saves before that point that you can restore to? Or any kind of savestates? Or were you only using the auto-save? If all you have is a savestate from after where it went bad then there's nothing that can be done to recover it.
If you have a save from an earlier point, the important thing to know is if the black screen can be reproduced and how. If it can be reproduced and shown to be a problem with the emulator and not something that's happening on your system we can try to fix it.

Yes I did make in game saves plenty I do it all the time I just learned how to use the save state in drastic

I think he confuses ingame and savestates.

I know the difference between the two I mostly make in game saves I save by going into the menu on Pokemon by pressing x and go to save and then I save the game
