You can try to make an in-game save after loading the savestate, before the game crashes. Then reset the game and load the in-game save.

I've started the trimmed rom from the beginning now and played until the crashsituation. and it crashed again... :/ maybe I am too stupid for this :D I'll wait for a fix for the emulator.

I have again a question.

I found an other post in the forum for this problem and the person said, that he export the savestate to desmume, skiped the troubleshooting sequence and saved it and put the savestate back to drastic. I wantet to do the same but i have problems with the savetype. Could someone explain me how to convert the savetype to .sav or something that works with Desmume and how to convert it back to .dss for Drastic?

You can't use savestates for that. Savestates are almost never compatible between emulators of the same system.
You need to do it with in-game saves instead, which you can find in /sdcard/DraStic/backup. They have the .dsv extension.

Ok, thx for the help this far.

But the Problem is now, that Desmume doesn't load .dsv files, only .sav. I managed to convert the .dsv file into a .sav file and it worked so far. I saved the game after the sequence but now i have the problem with the backconverting. How can i convert the .sav file back into a .dsv file for Drastic?

are you sure youre using desmume and not another emulator like say, no$gba? coz i also use desmume and it does read my .dsv file.

if possible, could you upload a savestate near that crash you were refering to?
i would like to test it if it can happen to me. just make sure that that savestate is somewhere i can make an in game save. thanks.

i can't upload the file here...it says, the file is too big...could u give me ur E-Mail adresse so i can send it via E-Mail

WHich Desmume Version do u have? i have 0.9.10.... maybe an older Version will load the .dsv file? Maybe the change in the newer Version savefile because many persons had the problem with no.GBA to Desmume?

Edit: I found my mistake....it works now with .dsv files...sorry for that :?
