Hello,
it is about Pokemon soulsilver, I used another PC emulator (MelonDS) to trade Pokemon Kadabra/Alpollo etc. as it was the only possible way I found. from Drastic to melon I could easily use the dsv file located in the backup folder on my smartphone.
But now I have the problem back to Drastic, Melon has its own file extensions called ml1, but with another export method I get out 2 files, an ml2 and .sav
I then used this converter https://www.save-editor.com/tools/wse_d ... e_dsv.html to get out a dsv file like ogirinally exported from Drastic.
But when I put this file to the backup folder, Drastic wont recognize it.
I'm always only able to choose a savestate (dss) file, but I dont have one.
bsaed on this thread, a dsv file should anyways be the better option https://drastic-ds.com/viewtopic.php?t=5668 as it reflects the ingame save method.
but how to open such a file? the only way I find is with drasitc menu itself, but it only allows the savestates dss
thanks in advance
import/load dsv file
Re: import/load dsv file
.ml1 files from MelonDS are savestates, not real saves.
melonDS only supports .sav files, and it should be the one you should convert from to .dsv.
.dsv files must be placed in the Drastic/backups folder
