Drastic crash when scanning for games android 8 - 10 lg g6

the newest version simply crashes when scanning for games for some odd reason and i cant even get the emulator to run any game because it just shuts down instead now. what happened?

refuses to load any game i try even the oldest versions in android 10

Is there a "This app has stopped working" dialog, or does it just go back to the main menu?

this app has stopped working. i managed to "work around" it by installing old app version to find the games, then load one from internal sd, delete that one, and then finally my games load from external sd but only if i launch them twice? i honestly have no idea why this happens specifically on my g6.
