Do you have a clean ROM?

same rom as when it worked on the 1st release of the emulator , but i tried re downloading a euro rom and a usa rom still same , not launching

Definitely works for me.

Try deleting any related files I guess, i.e. saves, backups etc. Maybe something is corrupted.

ok i fixed it , in the latest version they use a custom bios files , u need to use the old original ones from an actual DS , so just replace the system files with the ones from the usual sources , probably cause problems with a lot of other games too , not just cooking mama 2 , thanks

Can you explain in a bit more detail, what 'not working' means?

If the game can't be loaded because of the original BIOS not being present, you should get a warning about it.
Savestates are not compatible if they were made with a different BIOS than the one you're loading them with.

All i know is that i replaced the 2 files in the system folder with 3 files i have which are named , nds_bios_arm7.bin , nds_bios_arm9.bin , nds_firmware.bin and my cooking mama 2 rom started working again , cheers

And its working again so it doesnt need fixing , the bios files u get when you install the the new version of the emulator r2.1.3a, out of my 8 roms i had the only one not working was cooking mama 2 , so wen i replaced the bios files in the system folder with the ones i was using with the old version of the emulator , cooking mama 2 started working again , hope that explains it ?

Just in case anyone stumbles on this thread, Cooking Mama 2 indeed did have a problem with our BIOS (should be fixed in 2.1.6a)
