Romhacks and the cheat database

I am wondering if there was a way to somehow ' redirect ' ( not sure if that was the right word to use ) the cheats for a game to a ROM hack. I am playing a Heart Gold Pokemon romhack and I wish to use the cheats that are in the cheat database for Heart Gold without having to input cheats manually for the ROM hack. :ds:
