HARVEST MOON DS BUGS AND GLITCHES

Hey guys. I do not know if anyone else has had this problem or if this problem has been resolved or not but I noticed this earlier today. When I tried to play this game everything worked fine and ran smoothly but then when you actually get playing the game the whole village is a ghost town. There is nobody around town whatsoever. No one is walking around, no one is farming, no one is out and about , no one is getting their fresh air, and therefore you simply can not talk to anyone or give anyone gifts thus not being able to proceed with the gameplay because you are the only person in the whole village. You see other people in the game but only during cutscenes other then that it is dead quiet except for you and your cat and dog. Every door to all the buildings are locked so you can not really do anything except for walking around a deserted town playing with your animals and growing crops and picking herbs. Without this glitch being fixed this game is boring within the 5 minutes so please help try and fix this. I do not know if its just my phone but all other games work perfectly without bugs and glitches so far other then harvest moon ds. I hope this gets resolved soon.

Exact same thing happened when I tried it in DesMuME just now (which I'm pretty confident doesn't have problems with the games). Maybe it's this?

A little more googling reveals some other cryptic claims about this sort of thing happening on a real DS...

I tried it and its working fine. The store opens and I talked to nina. As exo said prolly a holiday but if it was 1st day, its not....

I tested some more, restarted, changed settings... there's villagers. If possible please check the game calendar. It indicates holidays iirc

I tried looking for people and going into buildings every day for the first week of spring there is no one around at all unless its during a cutscene and all doors are locked.

It might be just a glitch. I could try and reinstall it. Whatever the case i hope i can fix it soon. I love my harvest moon games. I had it for a real ds on a flash cart and it was working fine so not sure what the problem is even the door to the harvest sprite casino is gone theres just an impring

I haven't played the game myself, but from what I can tell from the FAQ (http://www.gamefaqs.com/ds/925581-harve ... faqs/44866) it seems the sprites are something you unlock throughout the game (hence the casino). Can you comment on this more?

By the way, when I played the game on the emulator a litlte bit ago I was at least able to find some villagers inside the houses.

Frankly, I don't think uninstalling the emulator will help you - but if it's acting differently depending on the current date it could help to wait for the date to change. Or to change the time on your Android device.

It sounds more and more like an actual error in the game and not the emulator. While the emulator could cause weird things like this it's not the sort of thing that happens very much.

It sounds more and more like an actual error in the game and not the emulator. While the emulator could cause weird things like this it's not the sort of thing that happens very much.

The sprites help you In various tasks as you progress the game. It seems that they are also the hg helpers in this one as well. Basicaly you need them as the game continues for managing tasks you can't do in 24 game hours.

I realy think its a bad rom as mine is fine. Would upload image but forums hates attachments it seems.

I am running it on the samsung galaxy note with Jelly bean operating system. Sorry not a technical expert so if there is anything else you want to know please describe in detail lol
