Pokemon SoulSilver - Cheats bug

Hi all

So I can't seem to get cheats to work on Pokemon SoulSilver. If I choose one out of the Wild Pokemon Modifiers, I just get a level 0, 0 HP invisible Pokemon. However, the battle cry is usually correct.

This is the only cheat running. Am I supposed to use some sort of button combo or something? I just walk in the grass until the next random encounter.

Any help would be appreciated

Oh, and this is using the in-game cheat database BTW, no tinkering with files or anything.

Same here, but the pokemon modifier cheat that involves using 493 master balls and 100 ultra balls work so you have that one. I don't know why but many other cheats don't work either.

Honestly I recommend not cheating on Pokemon, because I have heard of numerous occasions where people get corrupted saves from cheats. I guess you could backup your save, but still.

Many cheats dont seem to work. A favourite of mine on HG (no Gauge animations) freezes drastic once an animation is supposed to occur. Although over the grand scheme of things i used Pokesav to get all the pokes i want anyway so really dont need to cheat.
