App crashes upon opening (Android 4.4.2)

Press the '?' button on the main menu, or 'Help' in the game menu.

I can't do that. As soon as I press the icon for the app, the 'loading' pops up and then the app crashes. I literally can't do anything inside the app.

Does it display 'User: Default' in the lower left corner of the start screen? That text should only be in the beta.

No it does not. There is nothing in the bottom left of the screen.

Make sure that you're already a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.dsemu.drastic
If you are, it should give you the option to leave testing.
Then uninstall the app and just re-install it from Google Play.

I am a tester. I have the option to leave.

I just un-installed and re-installed DraStic.

Same thing. No 'Default user' and still crashes.

EDIT:

Tested on a friend's S3 (Android 4.1.1) and it works flawlessly. It is the beta version as the 'Default User' appears after the full menu appears.

I also tested on my Alcatel OneTouch Fierce (4.2.2) and I get the same bug (crashes as soon as it's opened).
