external controller not working.

I have the shield tablet with shield wireless controller and ipega pg-2023 controller? Both are not working with drastic? I can use direction pad to move around in menues but controllers don't work in games. In external controller menu controller shows as none. Map control is grayed out. Can anyone help me set up controller? Both controllers work in all other games and apps with no problems?

Change the 'none' to any of the other 3 slots. Then proceed to map the controller out
