Re: Drastic's Future

An open source DraStic would most definitely get a Libretro Core made for Retroarch. If open sourced should Exophase still work on the libretro core version in his spare time, The DraStic pay ware version could deservingly be labeled as a donation version rather than free.

Re: Encrypted Zelda Four Sword Adventures DS edition

The DSi firmware files don't work with any NDS Phat, Lite or even iQue DS only emulator. Since the DSi has DSi enhanced features at the hardware, bios & firmware level. The files are as follows.

These 4 are used for DSi.
bios7i.bin

Re: Encrypted Zelda Four Sword Adventures DS edition

Ok you have nds_bios_arm7.bin & nds_bios_arm9.bin named correctly, but you're foregetting nds_firmware.bin .

Use either one of these & rename the one you choose to nds_firmware.bin

alternative_firmware.BIN
Size: 512.00KB (524288B)
MD5: 3ad72b2c9a736b24953f2d391da4bfcc

Re: Feature Request: NDS Firmware boot

MelonDS can do this & does it without including any pirated software. You've to supply your own firmware. Although DraStic can't at this time, you can use ds phat & ds lite bioses & firmware by placing your ds BIOS7.ROM, BIOS9.ROM & firmware.bin in /storage/emulated/0/DraStic/system. Then name them ...

Re: Improve Performance with Decrypted ROMs

Most ROMs on the internet are already decrypted. You wouldn't be able to run them without the official BIOS & firmware when they're encrypted. An easy way to check is to scan the file directory(ies) where you've your ROMs, ISOs & Eboots placed. By using Retorarch's file scanner.
