DraStic

Should files be .nds to be compatible with DraStic? Will .apk files work in DraStic? I've downloaded r*ms but they are in .apk, DraStic can't seem to read them. Please Help! I just downloaded DraStic and have been looking forward to playing but this issue has left me hopeless
