I have the same issue, my time syncs when playing animal crossing but not when i play spirit tracks. This is annoying as shops don't refresh & it's pointless sending postcards. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this?

I noticed this only happens with Zelda though. I have Animal crossing and it has the time synced in the game. I am afraid to reset in case I do it incorrectly and lose all progress. Do you know how to disable this to synchronise with device time?

I have been playing Zelda Spirit Tracks for almost a week now, however the date/time hasn't changed since I started. The date on drastic is synced with the device but not with the game. This means shops do not refresh and sending post is a waste of time. Does anyone have a solution to this?
