Thanks a lot dude, it worked. It happened again during the battle with the second hiker but then it went back to normal.

Does this occur in all caves?

i am going to try a patched rom and see how that works, it probably has something to do with anti-piracy. I also see no differences, but i just chose to play soul silver.

i mean i can try HeartGold and see how that works out. if I find anything i will report it here. Before the update i got up to the third gym in SoulSilver, after the update i can't even get past the cave.

Edit: what if i tried a patched rom, will that help in anyway?

I know this was flying around before the updates but it suddenly reappeared after the current updates. basically im experiencing a glitch when i reach the cave in Pokemon Soul Silver, after a few secs the ROM crashes and i am sent back to the emulators home screen. Same thing occurs ...

I am also facing the same bug in Soulsilver, its funny that it happens only when I beat the onix trainer in the cave then it starts glitching. Also happening in platinum. It was running well before the update but after the update it just started to crash frequently. Hopefully thr developer will see ...

I mean it is playable, yet rather annoying :/
