I thought the update would do the trick but the app still keeps crashing on an EMUI 9.1.0 Huawei P30 Pro

Ever since this update when I pick a game (start new or load a savestate) the app shuts down. Only after 2-3 tries the game loads up. After a little while the problem reappears. No method of fixing this works. I'm using a Huawei P30 Pro (Android 9)

Hi,
I'm using the current version (r2.5.2.0a) on a Huawei P30 Pro, and when I pick a game (start new or load a savestate) the app shuts down. Only after 2-3 tries the game loads up. After a little while the problem reappears. No method of fixing this works.
