I find the recording thing to be a bit out of the question. It's a pretty resource-intensive feature for a phone, especially mid-end models.

Really I hate having to take screenshots directly from my phone, especially since they are crusty JPGs distorted by my phone's screen resolution.

So a screenshot feature should go as follows:
Take screenshots at the internal resolution
Screenshots are saved in PNG format
Give the option to ...
