This cutscene is way out of sync with the original game. After loading the save state, just watch the cutscene called "Palom And Porom."

in any case, i will still try to test this if i can find that specific rom. My md5 doesnt show anywhere but when i changed language to german, it did change so meh... easier solution is get a euro rom i guess...

and i doubt the english is any different from the us version.

To anyone who seems to have a copy of the "bad" US ROM, could you find the MD5 sum or CRC32 of that ROM and post that here? Certain file managers on Android like ZArchiver can display this information.

The EU version doesn't crash. As the post above mine says, the US version that everybody uses is likely a bad dump. If anybody here knows how to dump a ROM, we need that person to try it and see if the problem is fixed. If not, then it is an emulation issue. Until then, just use the EU version. It's ...

This had been fixed actually. unless my copy is a european rom that does not ask for language option, the crash on the tutorial does not happen anymore
