I had the cracked version of 2.1.2 before I updated, do I need to re-install?

Hey I noticed some issues with 2.1.6.1a and I was wondering if I'm the only one
Whenever I'm already in a game and I go through menu to load a new game, the new game doesn't load I just see 2 white screens.
To play a new game I hafta exit and choose the new game, not a huge issue but thought I'd ...

Well, the timing emulation changed somewhat too, it's possible this affects some games (can make them either slower or faster).

The only other thing is that the 3D rendering was changed to make edge marked polygons thicker (why there aren't black lines in Pokemon backgrounds..), this does cost ...

Has anyone noticed a bit of a slowdown with this version?
The start menu of Black 1 & 2 has slowed quite a bit, and some 3d heavy places in some games
and my battery doesn't seem to last as long
is this a problem at my end? Because 2.1.4a worked fullspeed on my S2
