Does the new bios fix ingame save issue?

I'd like to know if the new bios that was inputted fixes the in game save issue from getting corrupt? If it does I'd like to know the proper format to convert old nds bios save in order to be compatible with the new one if possible. If it doesn't fix the ingame save issue and it is something with the emulator itself then you may disregard this post.
